Basic Policy

  Since smoke rises, these units will be located above one another and will be equipped with special air filtration equipment. Close quarter living on a boat necessitates this level of precaution. Unless a more practical policy can be found, this will be River Cities policy concerning smoking.
• There will be absolutely no tipping of staff members. This policy will be in force for all aboard your River City. If you need special assistance, the staff will be available on a fee basis. River Cities is not a hotel, but your home.
• Two well mannered pets are welcome per residence on a provisional basis. Dogs are limited to 15 lbs maximum weight. If an owner is unable to control excessive barking, the association may deny the dog continued residency. And owners residing above the first deck are required to either carry dogs in their arms, or crated when moving to the 1^st deck potty area in the stern of the vessel.
• Fishing will only be permitted off first deck condominiums.
• Leasing of your condominium will be permitted only if and when River Cities has complied with the financial responsibility requirements of the Federal Maritime Commission in respect to non-performance of transportation. River Cities will make application to the FMC after we have conducted a survey of buyers regarding their lease expectations with their condominiums. With this estimate of anticipated leasing, River Cities will apply with the FMC. For further clarification please speak with a sales representative.
• River Cities will maintain a sales office onboard. Should you one day decide to sell your condominium, our staff will assist you for a 3 percent commission. read more
  River Cities will attempt to maintain this low selling commission, but rates may eventually vary. Owners may, of course, sell their units themselves or use an outside sales agency.
